Welcome to "Come to Heal". My name is Shona Moon. I have enjoyed a life long love affair with that marvellous creature that is the dog.

Working with rescue dogs first got me interested in dog behaviour. I went to Obedience Classes where traditional methods of dog training were used. I felt uncomfortable - something was missing. Then I stumbled across Jan Fennell's book "The Dog Listener".

I hold a Certificate of Advanced Canine Communication and as a result I have been able to help many owners forge a deeper understanding with their dogs. Most importantly they feel happy and in control and their dogs feel safe and secure.

Another major turning point for me has been discovering the amazing technique of Tellington TTouch.
This is a wonderful practical way in which everyone can help their dog relax and improve their mental and physical well being.

I do one to one consultations in the comfort and security of your home.

It takes a lot of courage to ask for help with your dog. My emphasis is on working with you and your dog.

My aim is to provide a holistic way in which to work and communicate with you dog.
There is no force or shouting I work with your dog's nature and freewill.

I work with my local rescue shelter and The Labrador Rescue trust.

"Shep's story" above tells how I rescued and rehabilitated a wonderful dog who was also one of my greatest teachers.

Currently I still have my beloved Seamus who though entering his twilight years never ceases to inspire and support me in all that I do.

Lyra has now joined our pack. She is an eight year old (going on 18 months!) yellow Labrador who came to me through my work with Labrador Rescue. Lyra was also terrified of thunder and fireworks. Once again positive communication and the amazing effects of Tellington TTouch has enabled her to conquer her fear.
She has now learned to relax and her confidence has grown so that she now feels comfortable to play with other dogs.
